My Mouse

My mouse has suddenly decided to go balistic. It will sometimes give me sparatic movement to one or more of the corners of my screen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, and have even tried downloading a setup program from Logitech. It's a Logitech Optical Mouse.

Either
1. Plug another mouse into the system
2. Plug the existing mouse into another computer

and see if you experience the same issue. Use the process of extermination...err elimination ;)

As well as checking the mouse, you should check the enviroment. Have you changed the surface the mouse moves on? I have a similar mouse that goes bananas if I use it on polished wood or metal surfaces, but runs fine off most other non-supremely reflective surfaces. Make sure the tests you run in switching mice and computer are on a consistent surface.

I figured out what my problem was. I was not using a mouse pad, and now I am and it works fine. Thanks anyway.
