rollover drop down menus with links

How is it possible to create a drop down menu with links?

I have designed a menu bar with hidden drop down sub menus, activated by Click and Double Click commands.
I would like to change this to mouseover and mouseout, so that no clicking is necessary to find the drop down menu. However my attempts have left me with a rollover effect but the second the cursor leaves the menu to link to a sub menu page the menu disappears.
Does anyone have the solution? And/or the commands I need.

This menu at dynamicdrive.com is terrific. Once you understand the configuration you can do anything with it, including using graphics. Hope this helps.

Hi Melanie...

The menu that MaineWebGirl suggested really is a good menu (I use it and yack about it all the time on this forum).

But since you said that you designed your own menu... you may not want a pre-fab one.

However... you might be able to break-down the code in that menu for your answer.
There is a variable in there called DissapearDelay, and maybe you can figure out how to apply it to your own menu (personally, I have no idea how that part works.... I'm just glad that it does. lol).
