me to edit files from the host and once they are saved I can re-upload them back to the host. I would prefer a free program if possible. Flashfxp does this but it is not free. Anyone know one that has this option? TIA

with filezilla you can download a file, edit it, and upload it again. i assume that's what you want?

HTML-kit has built in FTP support that makes what you want to do about as transparent as it can be.
