Hi,
I am not 100% a newbie, I went through the tutorial on html at this site, and learned just enough to be dangerous. Now I am 99.5% a newbie :D
Anyway, here is my question. I have signed up for free hosting, and have sites I built there. I also have created a banner, and saved it as a *.gif file at the same free hosting. I now have tried to add this banner, with a link to my site, but can't get it to work correctly :confused:
The html code I am using:
<A HREF="http://music27.50webs.com/ptpinstruct2.htm"
target="_blank"><img src="http://ptp27.freestarthost.com/ptpbanner2.gif" width="468" height="60"></A>
The URL I want to direct to: http://music27.50webs.com/ptpinstruct2.htm
The *gif file I want shown is called ptpbanner2.gif (AND I AM SURE IT IS AT THE WEBHOST SITE, CHECKED MANY TIMES)
But all that ever shows up is the darn "no pic" image.
Anyone know how I can make this work?
THANK YOU
