Hello,
I heard about the existence of a software (in Italy) which can list worldwide e-mail addresses, simply following keyword input (i.e. It is supposed you are interested to search travel agencies e-mail addresses:you input in a box the 'travel' keyword and this software display any e-mail address related to 'travel' existing on the net). I think it will be a tool for spammers.
Anyone know about existence of similar software in Internet?

Never heard of it, and based on that information, it would have to be added to somehow so couldn't have every email address unless it is run by US government or someone who can force Yahoo etc. to give information about email addresses. It could be fed by intercepting mail, but this would require incredibly powerful servers and more bandwidth than I would think possible.

I heard this software work as follows: it scours the search engines according to the keywords you give it and then automatically extract from any web site their email address (or other contact information)

r u refering to programs that retrive things like stock quotes, news headlines, etc etc but for e-mails?
i guess it's possible for them to do that all they have to do is change some stuff on it.
but this information that they are retrieving has to be public and yeah the search alone and the retrival must kill the bandwith.
i would think.

I know what you mean - they are called SpamBots, and they just trawl through web page after web page listing all the email addresses. However, only about 10% of all addresses are online, and measures have been put in place to stop them, such as:
+ Address hiding - hiding an address in a javascript
+ Fake addresses that reply with huge attchments.
So, if you do choose to use one, remember:
It cannot tell whos the address is - it can look for text, but the text can be lying
You may be swamped
Spamming is illegal in Europe.

Yes, e-mail spamming is a touchy subject lately, and e-mail lists especially targeted lists are a commodity sold on the web.
To create your own lists as cijori said you need software to crawl the net searching for email addresses. These are called email harvesters you can read the docs or purchase one at http://www.infinitymailer.com
This software must be used responsibly for the good of the internet community.

Thanks to all for your suggestions about this software. I'll try it.
However what do you think about this offer (for a limited time) I saw from a website: Lifetime membership for only $29.95 for web based optin email safelist (described as 100% optin and 100% legal to use, 500,000+ addresses updated every day automatically), any subscriptor will receive lifetime access to members area where can access the optin email list 7 days a week and from there type in your message, click, and email is automatically sent.
Are they cheater? Is it possible for so little amount of money?

They very well could have a 500,000 strong email list, but the question to ask is what is that list tageted at. Here' an example, let's say your selling some kind of washing power which makes you clothes look new.
How many of that scattered list of 500,000 for $29 have and/or use washing machines, how many are in your state or country.
On the other hand you could spend $1000 on a list of 20,000 addresses who have recently bought a washing machine in the city of New York.
Scattered lists tend to be a shot in the dark whereas targeted lists will yeild some kind of return.
It's really a marketing question, whois your target? where is your target? and of course what are you willing to pay to hit that target?
