I have downloaded a JS searchengine and you have the option between a few search enignes, but one doesn't work its the search engine from cnet.download when you search something it always says no software found, so the link isn't correct, i have paste the link below.

Does someone now the good link?

thanks

"http://download.cnet.com/downloads/1,10150,0-10000-103-0-1-7,00.html?tag=srch&qt=" + searchString + "&cn=&ca=10000"

Try this one...

Try this:

http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=" + searchString + "&tg=dl-2001&search=+Go%21+

I did a search at download.com and this is the url that shows up when a search is made. My search string was Netscape.

lol... :D

And to point out the difference between yours (havik) and mine, mine is the url that is returned if you hit the enter key to search, and yours is if you hit the "Go" button...

I was wondering why they'd have two different url to perform essentially the same search.

At least they both work
