I have been looking at going to school for web development, and I was wondering if any one has any good information that I could use about this.

A few things that I am mainly looking for is the average national salary, and whether this career has any oppertunities for the future. I would also like some other information as well, and what places have the best educational courses (in Minnesota).

Thanks For Your Help

National salaries are quite variable. I'm not keen to list any presumed average. It also depends on the size of the company you work for (also whether your are a contractor or employee), the degree of experience you have, you nature of the problems you solve, etc.

There is definately future opportunities. Working as a Web Developer will give you experience in problem solving, team work, data modelling, project management, technical writing, Web Marketing, requirements gathering (interviewing, etc), software development life cycles, database design. Just to name a few.

Regards.
