opening a new online store

I am opening a new store and i have a problem. I am doing all the designing myself. I want to know if there is a way that after a buyer purchases an item on my site that the item will either be deleted off my page or marked sold. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I AM OPENING IN 5 DAYS. thanks alot loggie

Well this would depend on what payment gateway you're using, what scripting language you're using and what database system.
Wether your payment gateway is seperate to your product listings or not, and wether your permitted to edit the code in your payment gateway.

How about finding a stock control module for whatever system you're using? then set stock levels to one, and change the 'out of stock' message to 'sold'

I just searched and searched the internet looking at several different busiess software for inventory control. And found nothing that stated they do what i want them to do. Do you know of anyone in particlular. Thanks for your help loggie

Oh also yes my payment gateway is completely seperate from my listings of products.

What online store package are you actually using? You will need the update specific to the package you're using.
