I've attempted to put an opacity filter on a:hover but it won't work at all. Why?

Well, first I must ask you some questions...

---------------------------------------------------------
Are you using Microsoft Internet Explorer?(don't know if it matters but it could).

Is it just the opacity filter that doesn't work on the A:hover event?

Do you have a background or background color set for the A:hover event?

Is the background or background color of the A:hover event different than the background or background color of the link before hovering?
---------------------------------------------------------

I could possible answer the question with those but if you don't get it or whatever.... I can just give you some working, tested code for a opacity filter on the A:hover link event.
