Hi:
I'm the webmaster for DynamicDrive.com (and JavaScriptKit.com). Can I get the contact for JavaScriptSource.com regarding a copyright infringement of our content that has gone ignored? Per our site's usage terms content/ scripts written by us should not be mirrored on another site, though JavaScriptsource has repeatedly ignored our wishes and went ahead with lifting content without our permission, the latest for example:

http://javascript.internet.com/css/scrollable-content.html
http://javascript.internet.com/navigation/drop-down-document-viewer-ii.html
http://javascript.internet.com/css/cool-css-menu.html

We've tried contacting JavaScriptSource through the feedback and script submission form to no avail. Please let me know who we need to be contacting at JavaScriptSource, or if this should be directed to your copyright department for review. Our wishes is for JavaScriptSource to in the future not redistribute any of our scripts. I'm hoping this is a company that respects other people's wishes and copyright.

Thanks,

George

Wow! That's not very good. :(

I'm not sure who deals with these issues (Maybe one of the admins here) but I hope you get what your after. ;)

Thanks JPnyc. We've contacted JavaScriptSource many times in the past, with the infringement continuing, hence we're posting here to hopefully get through to someone in charge. It's very disturbing when you lose control over content you've fully created and spent so much time on. This is a very clear case of our rights and copyright being violated after so many attempts at contacting JavaScript Source (and even getting an acknowledgment once early last year I believe).

Thanks,

codearena, in the future, feel free to contact myself (sclark@jupitermedia.com) and Lee Underwood (lunderwood@jupitermedia.com) if you have any problems with JSS. Just an fyi, all the scripts on the site are submitted--we don't take them from other sites at all. I have not received any emails from you about the matter, but we will take care of it asap once we have had time to review the matter. I will also look into why we have not recieved any of your comments from our feedback form--thanks for the note!

Hi sclark:
I appreciate your responsiveness on the matter. The last message sent to JSS reiterating our wishes was through the "submit a script" form last week (or perhaps 10 days), as the feedback form no longer works. But I feel confident and assured that the matter is now in good hands. If needed, I will definitely use the provided emails above to express our concerns again.

Thanks for the help.
