Favorite type of affiliate program

There are so many affiliate programs to choose from. It makes my head spin. My favorite kind of program is Pay Per Sale. I make a little off google adsense but not nearly what I make off my other programs. In fact, the only Pay Per Click I use right now is google.

I know this is pretty general. The type of content and traffic is a determining factor as to the type of affiliates you choose.

In general, what kind of affiliate program do you like best? Pay Per Click, Pay Per Sale or Pay Per Lead. Which type do you make most of your commissions from? Have you given up on a particular type?

Many affiliates find that some of the highest paying programs (Beside PPC - Pills, Porn and Casinos) are the financial pay per lead type programs like mortgages, insurance and credit cards. Those markets of course are also very competitive, however we do have some affiliates making over $10K a month in some of those markets.
