I am interviewing for a Web Developer position. Please advise what kind of high pressure things that can happen as a developer and how you have handled them. I have not experienced any high pressure web developer assignments except for deadlines on Projects. Please advise of any of your experiences.

Things like security issues and server crashes.

A big source of stress is clients who can't make up their minds. You work hard to get things done by the due date, and then the client decides they want to make major changes to their whole concept.

But they're always right!

One thing that frustrates me in web design is that in some testing layout pages I have made, I get this design in my head that I want to create into a web page. Sounds easy enough, but no matter how hard I try, I CANNOT GET IT THE WAY I THOUGHT IT IN MY HEAD. It may sound funny, but it's really frustrating.

Sanim, that's not just web design. It happens with writing, drawing, and music as well.

Keep a lamp, pen and notepad by your bed. If you get a good idea, turn on the lamp, write it down, make sure it's legible and understandable, then go back to sleep.

I don't need a pen or paper(or even the lamp), I remember all my codes of by heart even a few months later(except of VB stuff, that gets forgoten in a few hours...)

My family seam to cause more stress than work or anything related...

Yer, my G/F causes more problems thanmy coding, but we wont go into that, i remember most of the coding side of things, its just the crazy ideas that i come up with, like try this, or try that, it would look good there and things like that, im normally not overly creative!

I'm very creative and sometime wonder why various things don't work when exact equivelents do, for example in javascript: selectbox.options = new Array(); and selectbox.options.length = 0; should just remove the options from a select box, they are both the same in the sense that they clear the array. but only the one with the ".length = 0" actualy works.
