Black and White attribute

Is there an attribute to make colour images appear black and white?

I want to have a colour image on one page with a black and white version of the same image on another page. If this attribute exists it would save producing two seperate images.

'fraid not. Could possibly be do-able with some nifty server-side scripting but would be tricky.

Yeh might jus have to bring in photoshop an change to greyscale and save as different name
