This is a site for a friend of mine thats 1/2 complete. The link below is the high bandwidth version for faster computers. I dont like the current news popup and I want to embed a xml news section into the site. As of yet I havent been able to figure out how to parse the external xml feed.

I sort of liked it, though it did seem rather slow (maybe that's just my crumby laptop). I didn't realise at first that the position of the mouse cursor moved the page. I'm not sure I liked the wood background but that's a personal taste thing. Your art work is good but it just seemed hard work getting there and popups don't seem to be a nice way of getting to it.
Nice and different though.

I do like the art work, but the site didn't do anything for me. I, too, didn't at first realize the page moved. When it did, I found it too slow. If you could make the animals closer together to speed things up.

I'm on a fast cable broadband connection and have a killer comp so it is the site.

Both good suggestions thanks. Maybe Ill have it start scrolling right away so people wont get confused when they want to navigate. And making the compisition size smaller will help with the speed issues.

I think the background color where the Flash isn't being used would look better in black versus the grey that it currently is.

I think its sweet. Just make the scroll faster.
