i've spent the last month on this site and i'm just about ready to market it. now i just need some different options on it before i do.

Nice site. Just change the font of those top links and in the main paragraph. Don't use Verdana. Use that font on the "Shop by Category" header or something similar. Verdana just doesn't look good. Heh

Read the forum sticky. You might want to loo into removing the underline from links on hovering because going from blue to purple isn't that much of a difference, if at all, for color blind people.

Overall, that's a really nice design you've got there.

IMHO, the top links [and all the main ones] looked a bit chunky and out of place. Could use a softer feel - maybe a bkgnd. color and lighter/different font? At the left, I needed some variety - too much of that same blue. Again, a pale bkgnd. and/or a different color for main links, maybe. [Those left links could use a nice bkgnd. photo or left graphic that's not as basic as > ! ]

Any way to integrate your header colors or general layout 'feel' to the forums and articles pages?

I found I liked the site, but the one thing that bothered me most was the lack of contrast between the link and its highlighted counterpart. While I can see the purple, it's difficult for me to make out properly as I keep my monitor brightness pretty dim.

I think if you fix the contrast there, the site will be overall fine.

Not exactly webdesign (or is it?) but the apple in the picture looks like it was left out a bit too long.

... i agree with what's been said about the links. I think there should more contrast during the hover with either a different color or no underline.

Other than that the site looks good to me.
