In attempting to reach the forum today from our school computer lab at about 11:20AM, I was unable to connect to the site. I tried going to various sections and all of them would returned with an unable to connect in IE and a "Connection Refused" in FF. I was able to get on at 11:40. During the period of in which I could get on, I could access every other site I could think of. Noone else has mentioned anything so I assume it was just me. Anyone have the same problem or know why I couldn't get on?

I don't think this is related, but the first time I was able to access the page again was through a google cached page, while trying to find out an admin email so I could contact one. I accessed the cached page, clicked a link on accident, and all of the sudden I could browse www.webdeveloper.com again. Again, I don't know how this would be related, but in my experience in troubleshooting, it's good to know everything.

it does it every so often if there are a fair few people online all making request at the same time. It's just PHP's method of saying "I'm procesing too much to open a connection to the database at the moment".

Yeah we had a server glitch yesterday. I thought it was earlier than that, but I wasn't really paying attention to the time.
