:confused: HI there!!!
frankly speaking i'm seeking for help... since i'm IT and communication student 3rd grade (two years i have studied general software engineering and this is the 1st year IT and comm.)...i really love my field but can't find the right way to start.... i'm livin in Iraq and studying here is very bad :( we don't have the right skills to be successful engineers....
all that i want to start as is a web-designer, so where should i start ...
Anyone can suggest books or websites that i may read to develop??? plus which subjects i have to study, which languages?? when i just studied c++ and visual basic and not perfectly.....

Sorry engineers that i will graguate as engineer after 1 year :(

Considering you already have some experience with VB, you way want to look into ASP.NET, you can write it in VB.NET, which is very similar.

W3Schools have a very good HTML tutorial. NogDog posted a link to the site. :)

thx alot for ur help, i'll do my best to start with VB.NET from the link NogDog has sent...
i'm reading a tutorial about HTML and have desigened some sites in HTML but still not that much perfect...
