1... 2... 3... Well you're telling the truth alright. To be honest, I think your header is just rather non-exciting and a bit too washed out looking.

I agree. However, lack of creative-juice left has put me on a temp hold with that one at the mo.

Personally, I like the simplicity of the overall layout. The background color on the header is a bit yellow (maybe green... I'm color-deficient so it really doesn't matter), but the logo and menu links at the top look good together. They fonts are easy to read and your sections have adequate separation and don't feel cramped.

very nice. the navbar is a little washed out though. I would lose the black gradient on the sides as well.

Looks great, as usual, Dave. I'm not going to get into anything technical, but as far as looks, it's really simple and clean. Love it, man. (Oh, and your entries have been really good, too.)

@fixit : I may add drop shadows later on, but for now - I am just concentrating on the technical side (admin/comments etc).
