O.k. For starters, read the sticky at the top of this board for technical advise, you could really cut down on the size of your page by droping the tables for layout and making a better structured document.

Now I want you to look at each thing on your page and ask your self: why? You might think that your clock looks cool, but I, like most people, have a clock on my desktop and I don't really need another one. The same goes for the Google thing, I've got a search field on my browser and really have no need for another.

A few other things: The "website of the week" could do with some description to it. Your image banner isn't going to give you any help with search engines. Look into image replacement (http://wdhaven.com/article/12/bir). You'll want to go through and check for broken links Are you sure that you're uing the babe of the week pictures legally? No-one wants a copyright violation on thier hands Why are you using a remote hosted guestbook when you're server has plenty in the way of scripting that would easily beat that little thing?

Hi

Thanks for you advice...

Just wondering about the remotly hosted guestbooks ? All i have is the shout box and the forum and both are hosted on my server....

Anyway I will remove the clock because it never seems to work proper :)
I will also have a good look at that image replacement thing and see what it is on about...

As for the FHM images... not sure about them... I am hostign them on my server and I am giving links to FHM.. would this still cause probs?

Thanks again...

Hey, what d'ya know, it is on your server. The iframe caught me out, wouldn't a simple include be better?

Hi

Yeah well... erm....

Simple Include?

Only worked them out last week :) When I added the link exchange....

But yeah a simple include would work better...

I am going to rip the site apart today and try and get some login bits for the forum etc...
I will post once I am done and you can tell me what you think.... (if you would be so kind)

Thanks

ok sofar....

I have tryed to edit the shout box... going from a iframe to a include....

Easy enough to do it... but then it messes up...

The main problem is the fact that the shout box needs to reload when the user presses "shout", within the PHP script there is a nice refresh script but it requires it to point to the viewshoutbox.php file so that the form can be submitted.....

More to the point I cant seem to find away round it .... IFRAME 1 Enigma 0 :(

No probs still looks good in the iframe....
