I have a problem with browser compatibility. I used Frontpage as my html editor. I have a table border with cells on it. I have left, right, top and bottom borders on each cell and that would be the td style borders. Now my problem was, when I set the color of the borders to blue, in IE it was ok but when I browse it using Firefox, the border color turned black. Can anyone help me with this problem?

You just answered your own question, believe it or not. Frontpage was created by Microsoft for Microsoft's Internet Explorer. It generates invalid, improper, and inaccessible code. The label might say "WYSIWYG," but the fact is, what you see is not what you get. It's probable that Microsoft's employees tested Frontpage exclusively in Internet Explorer as they created it. If you think Firefox is in the wrong here, think again. Firefox isn't perfect - no browser is - but it's the nearest thing thus far (with Opera at a close second, I'd say).

That said, if you could post the code or, preferably, a link to the page in question, I'll be more than happy to help you out.

Yes it is! FireFox is perfect!
Especially that web developer toolbar.... so sexy.

Oh, JaxPerson, if you're looking to ditch that buggy program known as
FrontPage, then I'd recomend the free, and powerful, wysiwyg known as
NVU! http://www.nvu.com

I haven't tried it, but I have read some reviews on it, it's supposed to
be great.

Thank you for your replies. I think I'm going to use dreamweaver or maybe use the notepad for coding. :(

I did try it; it's quite nice. I'm using NoteTab Pro instead, and I think I'm learning better that way. HTML-Kit is really nice if terminology doesn't scare you. It scares me, haha. I just mentioned it to somebody else in another thread (and provided a link to it).
