It's my first website, so it probably won't be too good of a quality. I could use any suggestions possible. The address is http://www.chrisjs.weird.name.

Hi -
Ow, my eyes!
I guess I'd have to say: please, keep learning. You may want to look into declaring a !DOCTYPE in your pages and view other sites [and their css/html] for ideas on how to organize the layout a bit better.

Wondered: who are you? why am i here? right off the bat - please personalize the main page so that your guests don't have these same questions! Other than that, I won't go into coding or css issues - I think you need to get more comfortable with them both; and more knowledgeable.

Good luck & have fun,
El

Read the forum sticky. Don't use JavaScript for user login. I can just do a view source and see all that I need to. The colors really need to be rework. You do know certain text disappears depending on what the background color is? Someone having JavaScript disabled would really be stuck looking at your site.

A beautiful page with nice graphs that say 'ENTER' is annoying but a ugly page... eewww. lol. Really why should I enter? Would you?

As for the Login, forget it, it's useless.

Your colors are rude as far as I'm concerned... my retinas are still healing. Kinda looks like Walt Disney threw up with all the crazy colors, (games bg is painful).

Your nav is like a puddle expanding all over everything else.

I like taking 'Javascriptsource' codes and messing them up to create my own junk... but I wouldn't just link to one of their pages as content, that's kinda cheap.

The tables are fine...heck they even use tables on this site.

You have no consistent site theme.
Flip through the pages of other sites and you'll see examples of obvious themes, colors, likeness and unity, eg: Same nav on all pages in the same place, a title, subtitles, footers.

Oh and take out the 'under construction', it looks like that's the name of the site and besides no one really cares. All websites are under construction all the time anyway.

Hope some of that helps a bit.
