Can anyone please tell me why each time I install netscape in windows XP, java applet are always excluded. Is this because windows XP does not support it?

Thanks for your help.

Make sure you have it set for Java.

If that doesn't work then I guess it's a problem with XP. I don't think M$ likes Sun Microsystems Java very much. I heard they want to go with C#. But I don't think this has anything to do with netscapes Java support.

when i had XP (i eventually had to go back to WinME), i tried to install the latest version of Java...no can do...for some "security" reasons, they took the installers down from the Microsoft site...probably the security reason was that they were losing money;)

That's interesting. I think you're right. Sun is making M$ lose money. Why should M$ care though? They are the richest business in the world!
