Looking for a domain name host...

Hey, what's up!

I have never owned my own domain name before and have no knowledge in the area.

I am looking to buy or rent a web domain from a host that I know supports all of the following:

CGI/PERL
PHP
SQL
.htaccess files
doesn't edit scripts you write and stick-in any such code as:

I don't know if these insert that code, but...

I set up two sites cheap. For names, I went with http://domains.yahoo.com and http://www.netfirms.com. For hosts, I went cheap (with all those features) at http://www.shieldhost.com for both.

Set up one site expensively: name, I went http://www.interland.com; and host, http://www.networksolutions.com. I don't know if these expensive sites have those features.

Cheap hosting, comes with a $10/first year, $20 renewal domain name thing, and supports all of those at the basic hosting package ( except SQL, you need the silver or better for that. )

Providing a link with a big question mark next to it in addition to a lack of description is not very informing.

Can you find-out for sure if any of those include that annoying code.

Are you sure that they don't insert into every HTML file that annoying code?

It's ok, I got my name about 2 weeks ago :) it took less than 24 hours once I chose a domain hosting plan. hehe... I didn't pick one before but just rather a domain name.
So i had to fill-out some paper-work a second time and pay again by credit card :(.

I'm already using the domain :)
