Hi All
Many thanks for your comments on this site the other day, I've taken some of them on board, sorry Ian :( it still jumps but I've added a bit more colour to it :) .
Could others offer their thoughts on it, is it better for it to open on mouseover or mouseclick.
Is the background too much. Sarge I've quickly scanned the spelling and found a few mistakes but I've not changed the grammar I know it needs some apostrophes.
Am I on the right path?
Thanks again all.

Hi -
On the practical side - check your html errors using the w3c validator, then find the equivalent hexadecimal # values for the colors. You're using proprietary 'saddle brown' instead of the 6-digit hex value, like #996633. [Nadger is a great free program for quick color checks and tweaks.]
Add some padding to the side text so that it doesn't hit the borders, too.
As for content, I wonder what age group you're aiming for. If it's younger, then graphics are needed - a variety - esp. to illustrate the concepts you're describing.
I'd also suggest limiting the scope - have links to external sites for learning more about different species, environments, how people are really living these days, etc. and stick to:
1. Ecosystems
2. Facts supporting current state of affairs
3. Recommendations for helping in the problem's reversal.
That would also mean redesigning the header to be more specific - with an image or something, as well.
If it's just for you to express your opinion to whomever may be interested, then of course, you can do what you like! But I'd recommend a code clean-up and dropping the animal links altogether: actions or extensions on the main ideas would probably be more helpful.
[Don't let that stop you from adding nice critter pics here and there...might be a good way to divide main points - humans should be shown as well!]
Have fun,
El

your sites fast, but the right hand side looks crowded, but you've got plenty of empty space around it(on my computer your using just over half of the available space), why?
you need pages so people with javascript disabled can veiw more than just the main section(and they must be reached by next links...).
your email link could do with being reconsidered, how about a contact's page, that could then hold your email(in text so even people who hate IE can use it).

IKM,
I was most concerned with the apparent contradictions I saw the other day. I'll see if I can find a specific for you to look at. But it'll have to wait a while. The you-know-what hit the fan around here this weekend and I have some cleanup to do.

PS Don't get me wrong ... I'm notorious for misspelling and such. I just know you don't want to "advertise" such things. :)
