I'm just starting a new site for a new client and have had the following message:

"Basically what our previous people claimed was that you
wouldn't be able to give us the level of interactivity we outlined in the
project brief if you weren't supplying us with a CMOS2 site?!"

Anyone know what the hell a "CMOS2 site" is?

I've been developing sites since the mid 90's and have never heard of it...Maybe it's something "soopa new?"

Cheers

Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor?

Kidding, I've never heard of it when dealing
with websites...

I googled for it, but found nothing,
let me know when you figure out what
the hell your clients are talking about...

Maybe they made it up... I don't know.

Well,

Good Luck!

Cheers...that's exactly what one of my staff said!

I think it's probably a custom CMS that their previous (or existing?) web developers have...apparently licensing it at 10000GBP so probably worried about the competition...

Hmmm...

Why don't you try and get them a CMS, tell
them it's "super special" and let them use it.

You can find lots of mature (and free) cms(es) at
http://www.opensourcecms.com

10,000 GBP? Jeeze, forget that...

Anyway, Good Luck!
