Hi there,

I "kind of work" at a firm and I'm the responsible for their sites and email marketing, I oftem need to send newsletters but the only way I'm able to send HTML mails is I build the entire HTML page, then I upload it to the server, I visit that page with IE, then I select ALL, and copy. Finally, I open Outlook, NEW MESSAGE, PASTE and send.

But since the mail message editor is Microsoft Word, some of the HTML features aren't shown when the HTML message arrives.

Does anybody knows a better way to send HTML newsletters?
what apps do you use, and what steps you take to send them?

thanks!

Buy a software package, write or download a script to sent html emails. google (http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=mozclient&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&q=html+email+newsletters)
Most providers have an option for Mailing Lists for this purpose

thanks, I did not mean to seem so lazy.

The issue is that where I "work" the host where the sites are, only allow HTML pages...
And even so they pay about 25 Dollars/per month (25 Euros) for only 25 Megas of HTML host.
So I can't install PHP (or other kind) of scripts.

I was just asking if someone knew a cool software that they'd recommend. I use WorldCast also, but it not very good.

thanks :) tough

Very expensive, for 100 euros/year I can get 300 Mb, SSL, mailing lists, shopping cart and a pile of other stuff.

Do you recommend any? :D I'll google for it.

Yeah I know I have another host that was only 40 euros/year with all of that.
But the question is that that host is where I keep my personal site, I wouldn't use it to install scripts to send HTML mails from the company, they don't pay me to use my own resources.

:)

I've talked to the man in charge but he does not want to talk about it yet, even after I told him that the host he is paying is more expensive than a professional one...

For 25 euros I would buy a reseller acount with 5Gb, unlimited sub-domains, Bds, scripts, shopping cart, and still would keep 5,60 euros from that 25 euros, for the following month.

But I'm not the boss.
One must work with what one has available.

I'll try to talk to him again, or change the design of the HTML mail messages in order to do not loose many designed stuff (background images on tables don't appear).

thank you guys
