If anyone can help me out on this it would be much appreciated.

I'm trying to edit certain pages at our site www.usflag.com by going to the page i need to change and pasteing source code into Front Page and also Notepad. Whenever the changes are made I save both files as .html files and then I would upload them to the internet by using FTP:

The problem is whenever i save the file to my computer it turns all images into C:// drive images. I need all the images to stay "Web Images". Anyone have any suggestions??

Thanks,
Justin

How about Find and replace... Well in Notepad it's just replace

Other programs can search an entire directory and do this same replace freature... I do believe that FP also has such an option.

I would start there.

Justin,

Have you considered FTP-ing the entire site to your computer to work on it there? As Compguy Pete has said, it just makes things easier. I run Apache, all modules and MySQL locally on my computers to do design work, then upload the website once complete. (If you're only doing HTML work then you don't even need Apache - just a browser.) A full FTP of the site would probably solve a lot of your problems - it would get you all the code you need, as well as directory structure, all images, etc.

Yes I have, I believe that is what I need to do since the whole site is built in HTML with a couple of Javascripts here and there. I believe I’ve finally figured out my problem. If you could please correct me if I’m wrong with these steps.

If I’m right or wrong please suggest what I should do. Thanks a lot for your help.
