updates?

I am editing an existing web page for a company. Is it confusing to users to update and change the page too frequently? Do they resent the changes as it upsets their familiarity?

good questions to ask, according to usability studies users do like content to be frequently change but not so much design/colors changes and certainly not changing navigation bars/links. Users like to get familiar with the navigation, if a user can find his way about your site then he/she will leave. If you constantly change navigation/links throughout your site returning users will find this confusing and would not return again, imagine going into your local shop every day and they change the shop layout every day how confused would you be? It maybe a good idea for you to conduct your own usability study find out for yourself what changes your users would be confortable with.
