Save and loading

I'm writing a flash application that need to provide option for user save file. What method of actionscript i can use for this?

Then, I need to write the option for user to browse the file that they already save and load the file, how can i do this?

As like a save game? There's a tutorial over at Newgrounds for how to do it. I think you need to save cookies.
