There are plenty of programs you can download to accomplish the mentioned task - just google "screen capture software". Among the most popular are: SnagIt, FullShot, and HyperSnap. HyperSnap's sister application HyperCam can be used to record desktop video. However, I prefer the printscreen function it's quick... it's easy... it's free.

Hi,

Thanks for the tips. I have decided to donwload a free trial of snagit. Hypersnap looks good but you have to pay , right?

YOu have to pay?? That's total crap. If you use a Mac, you just have to hold command shift 3 and it will take a picture of the whole screen and save it as a PDF. Of course, to crop & edit it, you need to open it in Photoshop, but I have Photoshop, so it's been coming in really useful.

on the pc you should have a print screen button on your keyboard. push that, open up a paint program, like photoshop or mspaint, and make a new image then go to edit and paste......basically what print screen does is copies the screen to the cllipboard so you can paste it anywhere that images can be pasted
