Just a suggestion, but I think that some more forums should be put in the e commerce section like one for web hosting and one for marketing sites.

We have a forum to address that subject specifically, here. (http://forums.smallbusinesscomputing.com/index.php?)

Oh yeah. It would be good if registration went across all the sites then ;)

Sorry, that's not so simple a thing to do. Each site is on a separate server with a separate database.

I know this is an old thread, but the link above to the small business forum should be displayed with the other links to the other forums here (http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/index.php?), under the links to forums about networking, security etc.

We could. But the company runs 30 forums, all dealing with some facet of the I.T. field, so if we weren't a bit selective about which forums are linked where, there'd be 29 such links on every single forum. I'm sure you can see how that would be a problem.

You could just have a link to a page which has all the forums you run listed, or something. Its just that I couldn't find a link to the small business web site anywhere, with out going to this thread.

Ok, point taken. But if you type e-commerce forums into google, our site will be the 2nd one returned.

I have read the conversation between you two the opinion given by him is good because if you have made us to access all the fiorums then you could make your site no:1 in the google update think of it. It is a good idea given by him and my suggestion is be clear with a keyword which you are using for your site so thst you can acheive it easily.
