Seems like no one is familir with the information I was asking for earlier, so does anyone know of any other sites with web dev forums with large member list and that is highly active?

No. No other forum I know of is this active that is for programming and or HTML and JavaScript, etc. If you're questions are about HTML, JavaScript, etc. you should stay with this forum.

I posted this exact post I posted in the forum where I originally asked the question, PHP. They said said "Can Anyone Help" should be in general.

Um, you are still not very clear what you need help with (no I won't search this entire forum for all your previous posts) .

Are you possibly asking for how to get help with PHP?

My original question was what are the basics of setting up instant messaging on a website. I have a website with message board and chat for the users, but I would like instant messaging also.
