I manage a website for a cultural center for Louisiana State University. We do not get much traffic, so I am looking to build that by getting our website back from the dark ages. For a laugh, you can visit it and let me know what u think:

To try and aid me in this process, I really need to learn more about graphics design, so the many images and thumbnails, TOC, title bars, etc I upload to our website all maintain a welcoming, professional feeling. Do any of you know of some good website that have general tips and suggestions for using Frontpage. I am very proficient in the program, but I am not able to open it up and have a real direction or path to success.

Well you're not going to get away from the dark ages using frontpage, if you post your site the reviews section you'll get plenty of tips for both design and technical areas.

Photoshop is your friend. ;)Only if you can afford it, if not then the gimp (http://gimp.org) does everything your likely to need. Although a well designed site needent have any graphics at all.

And I've never used the Gimp but I have heard good things about it.
