I'm not posting this in the site review, because I'm not interested yet in having critics about the coding...
But, I'd like to have your opinion on the general layout. It's meant to be simple, and futuristic.
Do you have aby suggestion to mnake it better ?

BTW, some parts ( most of them ) are not finished, but if you click on Tagboard, Faq, Ness and finally the big banner, you'll get a page...

Hi m8,

I see the direction your going with the site and the idea is good and could be made into something really cool.

But at the minute there is a feeling of emptiness on the site - too much space, from a graphics point of view i would put in more imaging - somethig to draw the surfers in.

Keep up the good work tho.

but I haven't been able to, because I don't even know where I should put them...
Also, I would surely need some kind of image, but I wouldn't know where to put it too...
It's too hard, I've been working much to long on this website to be able to think efficiently.... :(

this picture has some problems with the drawing for the rounding edges of the pixels , it doesnt give a clean look to me
the color scheme is nice but it has nothing that jumps out at me because all the colors are so similar... what i mean is the background, links, and content colors all give the same feel so none of them really stand out... maybe you could play around with another color to emphasize the things you want ppl to focus on

For the rounded edges, I cannot do better. I think it's ok when it's viewed with the rest of the menu, but I might have a look at it.
I tried to keep the color scheme as similar as possible. But maybe I should make the links stand out in a better way.
But which version have you been viewing ? Except in the white version, all links kinda stand out, because even if I picked colors that are in the same shade, they are still different enough so that we know it's a link...

i think your site gives good meaning to the hole "less is more" thing. wat i do like is that the viewers eye isn't distracted fromt the text, cos your site is just streight to the point...text! which is good, because you dont want your viewer to read part of the text , get lost amoungst all the distracting pictures and start over agen! i like it!

Actually, it was exactly my point. I'm a writer, and this site is to promote my work. The people I expect to come on my site are the "litterary" kind, who give more importance to the text than to the images... :)

Actually, this is a remain of the old javascript version ( paix à son âme ), and as it was css, I couldn't specify a border-top AND border-bottom ( which I needed also ), because then, it was too big.
But, now, with css and php...
glad you pointed this one out !!! ( you know, I've been seeing my site everyday for 4 months, so I'm so used to it, I don't notice the little problems anymore... )
So, you like the mail and copyright alternative ? I'm not sure I like it, though... I still have to experiment with them...
But now, I'm doing a BIG thing : setting the whole page with percentages, so that it can be viewed in different screen res, without ruining the design.

Yeah, right !
But now, i'm trying to get the design to be ok in all screen res, and I don't get the div and percentage thing...
I'll make a post in the css forum very soon. Strange things happening...
The most important problem to me is the fact that I'm afraid to change anything, because I'm so used to the design that when I change anything, it looks so weird to me, and maybe I'm missing some improvement just beacuse I can't stand seeing any changes... lol !
