Office Web Components

I am trying to develop a web application that uses the microsoft office web components. I am having a little difficulty figuring out how to format the series of a "scatter with smooth lines" chart. I need one series to be scatter points only and the other series to be smooth lines. I would like to know how to turn off the line property of one series and the marker property of the series. I figure that one way to do that would be to set the color properties to "No Color" if there is such a thing. Please help.
