when I place my mouse over certain text or pictures I recieve javascript errors with an exclamation point and not able to open that particular picture or text. What's wrong?

Your going to have to show an example of this. My first guess is that the text and pictures have onmouseover functions and it's these functions that are causing your error. Maybe their not defined or being defining improperly.

Thank you, but I'm not sure what you are talking about. I don't have any codes. All I want to do is maybe get a javascrip update or download javascript to stop this problem.

When I seem to be having these problems is when I'm on the internet and want to view a picture, (ie. of the war)

Havik is probably right. The pictures probably have rollover code which isn't going to work unless a. the image are stored in your Temporary Internet folder or b. you are online.

So wait a minute, this isn't your code? It just happens on certain pages all over the internet? If it's everywhere then what browser are you using? Gotta clarify some issues here first.

I just tried to get a specific website, but the only way I know to tell you is to go to "msnbc.com/news" and it happens when I try to click on a slide show of the war. Hope this helps!
