That was a lot of wasted time - should have learnt the web development first.

well, see it looks nice, the header menu and footer graphic, but the text doesn't really go with it... but i wont tell you everything i don't like seeing is how thats not what you asked for...

answer: uh, about $200 just because of the time you spent... but i wouldn't give $5 for it... sorry...

I can tell you one thing -- it is much better than my first attempt at Web Design.

Like I mentioned to you earlier (outside this thread), you need to weigh up your costs and then decide on a price you think is fair.

Good job, overall.

Regards.

I have to disagree. I woudn't pay for it. Thats because I have no use for it. Someone out there would pay for it and I don't think it was a waste of time. A lot of people talk smack about a site if they didn't make it or it doesn't comply with the standars with the exception of a few. But no body knows or cares about standars except developers. I think the layout is cool but the text doesn't go. Also you probably didn't need flash for the site.

Personally, I kinda like the design.
Flash, flash... I understand your need to put flash on the intro. I did so for two of my websites... never again...
You MUST provide another way for the people to come in. If flash is disabled, they won't be able to access your website.
Also, I would suggest you to use divs instead of table. The use of table will always generate nasty comments from Vladdy, and here, that's something you want to avoid as much as possible... lol !
Another thing : I don't like having the same color everywhere. the text, at least, should be in another shade of blue, or I don't know, even in another color, because everything tends to melt together, and finally, you get an overdose of blue ( thanks for not doing the site in yellow or in pink ).
Other than that, I think it's a nice website. I don't read Spanish, so I can't tell you whether it matches the content.

Concerning the pricing, as sparq said, it's worth what someone will agree to pay for.
As an example, I was once paid the staggering sum of 3000 $ to redisgn a website and redo a layout, as well as clean a "word generated html code". Of course, it wasn't worth it, and at first, I offered to do it for free, but the people had a lot of money and wanted to pay me.
The site I'm talking about wasn't standard complient ( but the server that hosted it couldn't support php, so, I had to do everything with frames ), as yours, but it delivered its content, and still does. The people who own the site are really satisfied with it.
So, what you can learn from this little story is, you can have the best of websites, standard complient and all, easy to navigate, accessible to all browsers, if nobody wants it, what can you do ? Nothing.
But if your design catches someone's eye, he certainly won't be going trhough the code to see if you used tables for the design. The most important thing is to catch somebody's eye. The rest, you don't care. The code can easily be modified. The most important thing is to make a good impression.

Hi -

Lots of images - must have taken a lot of work. It looks a lot better than any of my first design attempts.

As a client, I'd be worried as to how easy it would be to insert future content - would I have to create images like those, and could I do that with the software I've got, or would I have to purchase it?

As Ness Du Frat wrote, it would be what it's worth to the client. I'd come up with an hourly wage for yourself, and hold that sum under the table. When they make an offer, compare it to what you think your time (not the product) is worth.

Good Luck!
