How is it that a given user name that is not listed in members and returns invalid user name if you try to log in with it will still say it is in use if you try to register with it?

It could be a banned name or in the database but inactive.

It could be a banned namePossible, but doubtful.or in the database but inactiveYou wouldn't happen to know how long the system retains an inactive user name? Or if there's some way to clear it?

I'd hazard a guess that it won't clear itslef, it needs to be manually deleted.

Who do you know with access to the dB?
