Searching the forums

A comment in case no one has noticed (which seems unlikely). When I click on "search this forum" half the entry box and , more importantly, the "go" button is covered by the advertisement to the right. I generally get kicked to the advanced search because I couldn't reach to "go" button on the quick search.

it has happened to me before in opera 7.23 at 1024*768

I dunno, for me the search box is on top of the ad, not the reverse, in Opera.

Firefox 1.0.4 at 1024 x 768 and it doesn't happen all of the time.
I'm guessing about 60% of the time.
I will try to keep track and see if it's certain ads.

Is it the Microsoft adverts that cover it over? I've never had it. No adverts I allow to ppear have ever covered it. I dunno if it is the case for me because it is the different kind of ad that causes the problem or that I don't often get adverts because <subtle:hint>the vast majority of adverts are microsoft based</subtle:hint>.

Was that a flash advert? They seem to have infinite z-Indices.

Ie dosn't have this problem only Firefox and Opera :cool:

The "Go" button isn't really even needed though, just use the "Enter" key.
