This is my website, The Legendary Lair. http://www.legendarylair.com
I'm a 15 year-old so that's why it isn't all "professional" looking, but it does have some hard to do stuff in there. I'm posting here to see how you guys would rate/review it (duh).
I've had this website since I was 12 so I was also kinda wonering if I had learned alot for three years or if I was a total dumbass.
Also, there's a forum that I use phpBB2 for so don't rate the forum function as much as you would rate it's accessibility because I made the template from scratch.

Not to be mean or anything, but I don't like the look. The splash page is bad, people are frowning apon those nowadays. Your HTML is... interesting (and invalid (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.legendarylair.com/site/))
but whatever. Most people would complain about the tables, but I won't, but I will comment on the fact that it's very dependant on JavaScript, when you could do the same thing using CSS and a server scripting language.
EDIT: Forum template is nice though.

ok, thanks. I enjoy hearing any reviews, bad or good. I do like that site you linked me to, the validator one, it helps a bit. And I'll look up and see if I can get some stuff running css.

I know, that's kinda how I am. I figured since my "online name" is Dick Tater I guess it should somewhat represent a dictatorship (hence the wierd symbol). Also I'm in the middle of making a crazy flash movie (hence the wierd monster thing named "MATAR")
And I'm sorry it didn't load earlier this morning I couldn't even check my email at that website this morning, the whole server was down I guess.

hmm im the same age as you but my site is valid i dont see y yours shouldnt be.
who is mrSquid and why is he on your splash page? splash pages are annoying and so is flash, and flash is more annoying when you have it disabled in your browser and you cant get to the content.
the internet is for communication, if you can't get to the content then whats the point? if you understand what i mean, people want to get to the content as fast as possible not wait... so i enabled flash to see your site and...
we get to another annoying splash thing, please add a text link or an alternative no flash page
http://www.legendarylair.com/site/ i went to that... in ie it looks orite, though you got no image for your donate button. at 800x600 your site in a mozilla based browser shows a page of blackness! you use javascript allot, and lil animating avatars, lots of things on your site are browser specific like that right click menu... any way theres other things like colour scheme and css layout but im sure some one else will kill u, sorry if i sounded mean... but all reviews concentrate on the bads not the goods.

I'm fine with that, your writing was hard to follow but I think I got the jist of it. Mr. Squid is my cousin's web hosting site and I added it to my splash page mainly because I am hosted for free by him. Actually he added it and I just decided it was ok to keep. I will think about changing my splash page to no longer be flash.
The icons are all changing, I'm re-doing my site so that it works better with mozilla and in the process I will be switching out all those Jack Skellington icons with icons that atually tell you the page you're on (if you're too stupid to read the title next to it).
I am working on making the site valid.
So you really told me everything I already knew.
Also, when you enabled flash you didn't go to another splash page. You went to an intro page and when you selected skip you went to a quick menu, site or forum.
Then you click on which one you wished to see.
Also, my paypal button does have an image.
