only real critique is that the main page is a little heavy on graphics, there are some still operating on 56k out there (dont know why with DSL, Cable, and Satellite so cheap)
and maybe have your links stand out a little more from the highlighted (blue) text, i thought the whole line would be a link, and it turns out that only the word "here" was
how long were you waiting for a search enginge to find you?
get linked in blogs, and in other websites that are in the engines, eventually they will find you

Moved to Reviews Forum.
your site takes a while to load images... maybe reduce the graphics side of it. and look into diffrent methods of layouts.
Your site needs a title... http://fabio.ugtech.net/webdev/46/using-the-title-tag-correctly
that article explains how and why to use the title tag.

Your Web page is 873,222 bytes in size takes 173 seconds to download on a 56k modem. This is WAY too fat!
The practical limit if you want a Web page to download and render in 10 seconds or less on a 56k dialup is 60,000 bytes. Your page needs to go on a cash diet.
Your animated GIF files are killing performance.
Run the page through Andrew King's Web Page Analyzer at:
http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/
and follow the instructions at the end.

Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it. Has considered the text clour might be a problem - some say use black only but all the advice is very conflicting. I want to keep the graphics - can I compress the page size???

Thanks I'll give it a try. What layout would you suggest to improve performance?

Maybe use a little padding in your tables so that the text is not flush with the table borders.
google wont like you with out a title, or bad layout, google will find it harder to see content from code, so the less code and more content (in other words do it the right way) you get better results.
