I've used marquees. I've used them since I first had my website. But I have recently found that personalizing them (ex: scrollamount, direction, onMouseOver,...) causes your page to become non-valid. Does anyone know how to:
a. Allow it to become valid
or
b. Make a marquee except without using <marquee> tags

Any help is greatly appreciated.

JavaScript (or DHTML?) can emulate the functionality of a <marquee> element. You will find it hard to get help of fixing a marquee here as 99% of the members dispise them.
I thought the marquee element had been deprecated for years.

Thanks for your help.
I see how people can get into despising marquees. I'll try to get into javascript with this or I'll try to think of something different from what I've been doing for years to display my affiliated website.

This one looks OK. It's not really a marquee, though. :p
