Java plug-in in MAC? (simple question)

I would like to know if the Java plug-in is built in MAC.

I know it is on IE, what about FF?

you typically need to install the plugin,
When you install FF or any other mozilla based browser and unless yu selected custom install the plugin would be installed by default

I'm not sure if a Java plug-in is bundled with Mac, but I would not think so.
