Ok here goes...
I have designed a website for my uncle from the ground up. It is perfect except for some small details.
Most of the site is designed in flash with some easy image manipulation, not much scripting. What I want to do shouldnt be that hard but since I know just about as much of the chemical composition of dirt when it comes to scripting... I'm at a loss.

If you go to the portfolio page (after accepting his agreement) you see a flash with opens up some images on the top left of the flash. I want to be able to mouseover the icon and have it draw a 1px white line to the center of the flash and pop up the name of that section along with a small description.
I also want to be able to onmouseover or onrollover have the thumbnail fade out and fade back in when the mouse is removed.
I am using swishmax for the designing aspect as I find macromedia flash to confusing... any help would be greatly appreciated...
