A BIG improvement. My only quibble would be that the footer is way too big (the giant PEI graphic). Make that smaller and look to see if you can't get more content onto the front page.

As far as adding more content to the front page, i mentioned that to my boss as well, but she didn't like the idea to much. Thanks for the advice on the footer.

ha! yes real' big improvement, actually you designed the site,cuz i wouldn't call the 1st one a site!it's just an image map...
zingmatter is right about the footer, as an alternative you might want to try to reduce the text (PEI) and leave more space between the footer and the end of the content

Looking at the old site, I have the urge to smack the little annoying golf guy.
Your new site is SO much better. Nice clean coding!
Agreeing about the footer. It might not look so imposing if the PEI were omitted, and the image retained. That extra flourish (of the initials) makes the site look like one of an ego-maniac.

Only one word can describe it -- beautiful!! An outstanding improvement over the first one, by far. I can understand about the footer, and I can also understand about the decision to not change. The overall effect and impact, though, was truly impressive.
I liked it a lot!!

the new website looks great!
however, i agree with zingmatter about the footer. in my opinion the pei is too large and dominating, perhaps making the footer smaller would be good.
i also agree that the content of the main section should be added to. however as you can't do this maybe padding it out a little could help.
e.g. space under the headings, more space inbetween the pargraphs and space after the text/before the footer.
