Why are title incomplete on the main page of the forums? :confused:
e.g. :
Submiting a form with...
What is the...
searching for a nice...
MySQL returning...

this is absolutely of no use at all, it's so confusing! :mad:

The board shows as much of the title as the space allotted allows.

can't it be shown complete?
I mean, what's the use of a title like "I have got a problem...(with a login script)" or "What is the...(code for inserting mp3 audio files)", etc...

Some titles are too long to fit. Besides when you mouse over, it displays the full title.

hemm..i just tried hovering on a link on the main page and the tooltip appearing actually shows the first sentence of the post it self, not the title

I was referring to the main index page of the forum, which is the only place where titles are shortened.

this is what i tried, and it shows the first sentence of the post body, not the title

aren't titles shortened in the main index, when you see it?( url post#10 ?)

the tooltip shows "Go to the first unread post in thread 'thread_name'", when i hover on the link on the forum index (url post#11)
