SMIL file Hyperlink Question

working with a smil file. I want to use the <area> tag to open a new window. This works fine except the window opens without any toolbars/status bars/taskbars anything. is there a way to specify the window to keep these attributes?

If I knew SMIL, I'd know what you're talking about. Can you add Javascript to your tags?
