hey,

www.sunshinefloridavacations.com (http://www.sunshinefloridavacations.com)

This is the first website I've designed properly and wanted to see if anyone had any ideas for it.

Hi WackyJack -

Lovin' your Yoda Icon.

Hmmm... "designed properly?".... Really, to be proper, you need to ditch the frames. They aren't necessary for your design, and complicate things for a site that should be pretty simple.

I like the sun graphic, however its color is too vivid. The text overlay is difficult to read. Try brightening it (in your image editing program) by 50% - that will reduce the intensity of the yellow.

You might consider black text, rather than the green. Although lots of color is good, the multi-colored text is a little distracting.

You might spice up the left-hand navigation panel. It's a little boring, and hard to read (maybe white text would be easier on the eyes....).

Also, you might spice up the banner - italic "Times New Roman" seems a little homemade.

The map provided doesn't have street information, just lines. You might invest in a good map.

Good Luck -
KDLA

the backround makes the text unreadable stick to a plain backround and there is two much contrast with orange/yellow with blue. keep the colours the same if you have to keep it just orange and for example use white and black.

there is better methods to achieve the same results that frames do, using a div with an overflow (done in css) and if you need to include another page you include functions http://fabio.ugtech.net/code/9/including-content-with-out-iframes
