You guys have been great.
Recently (5 mos.) started coding again. Hadn't done anything in about 15 yrs.
With the help of HTMLGoodies.com and yourselves, I was able to recode my wife's art site that she created using one of those design programs(?). Added a one page catalog/order form and contact page that runs through NMS, hooked in a CSS.
Will start checking out the SEO and Ecommerce forums next.
the site is: www.blessingsbyjule.com (http://www.blessingsbyjule.com)
Any and all feedback welcome.
Thanx to all!

That background image doesn't tile properly!
Hi -
It's a good start but please get into your css studies...
[Just selfish, of course, hate sifting through the tabular gook ;-).]
Once you get more confident, play around with alternates to the centered page that's much too long [-get the Back to Top anchors going!] My favorite arrangement was About the Artist since it wasn't smack dab in the middle.
Background would still be effective if the content had a white - even transparent white, to help show the text better. Those top links grew on me, but overall were hard to see and read - thank goodness for the hover effect.
Keep going & have fun,
El
P.S. - Nice sculptures!
welcome back, if your starting you should start with the latest so you dont get into any bad habbits try XHTML. Your navigation isn't clear dont use the image as a backround it would look better if you had a box design like with the content right at the top with a certain colour a softer or darker colour below for the title then the content and footer somthing like that postioning like though will work better. Good work though with Valid HTML i hope you enjoy webdeveloping and stay with it./

I think you should put everything in a background size division. Just use "overflow-y:scroll" in the style part. Also, I would recommend a different picture for your "About the Artist" section. People want to see a face when they learn about someone. Not the back of their head. I think you should make your links more noticable somehow. I'm not sure how many people will notice that you have links after "Name..." in the science section. I got lucky because I was actually looking for them. You want people to just notice them as they come. Perhaps if you lighten the background a little bit with a photo editor you will be able to see the text a little better. Maybe.
