Hello all :)
Please take a minute to look at my site and let me know what you think and/or what I need to fix. All of my web knowledge has pretty much been self-taught (from reading books and browsing great forums like this one :-), so there are a lot of things I know I need to delve more into and improve myself.
On this site, I know the transparent scrollbar of the iframe is currently not working for Netscape :( (it works fine for IE), and I'm still trying to search around to see if anyone has any other ideas of how to accomplish this.

Thanks again :) !

I think for 6/22/05 you should have a details link rather than the whole thing being a link.
What's with the question mark for the links?
I didn't find any spelling errors in your bio. A lot of people seem not to use word programs.
Perhaps credits needs a description. I'm not sure of it's point.
In the news you did the same thing with the links being whole sentences.
Why is your fan art zipped?
When your links turn blue, it's harder to read due to size.
White text is a little hard to read as well, again due to size.

I like the look.
Many people still use 800X600 so I get a side to side scroll bar, kinda sux. I use 1024X768 and it looks really good on that setting, but you should make it friendly to all users. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's time to leave the 800X600 behind.
When I click on "Gallery" my pop up blocker is blocking it. Because of the way the site looks, you should really try to make the gallery fit into the frame like the other links do.
These are the opnions of a user, i'm not really a developer. Overall I think you have a very good design, I do like it.

Thanks for your great inputs!

I did a quick fix on the home page (like this 6.22.05 'Freedomland' Wrapping Up ... [details], then when you click on [details], it will open up the full article). Is that what you meant?
What's with the question mark for the links?
LOL...yeah it's one of those fun things Dreamweaver provides that lets you turn your cursor into some other shape rather than the hand. I changed it to a se_resize shape instead of the question mark (kind of like SE arrow). See if you like it better :) .
Perhaps credits needs a description. I'm not sure of it's point.
Well, it should be "Filmography" but that word is way too long to fit in that little space so I used "Credits" instead. If you hover your mouse over the link, it'll say "Ron Eldard Filmography". Maybe I'll try to make "Filmography" fit somehow
Why is your fan art zipped?
Those files are actually .wmv files, and I'd hate to have people just click on the file names and stream them live. That will take up all my allowed traffic (am I thinking right? ). At least, with Zip files, people will save them and run them locally on their PC's instead.

Yeah the font color and size have been a headache for me since day 1. It's impossible to pick a combination that will reflect the theme color (blue-ish) and easy to read at the same time. I don't want the font to be too small (hard to read, as you said) and yet not too big, so I picked 10px. And I don't want the font to change either because it will look out of wack with the pictures. Agh this is a tough call because I honestly don't know what color to change the font to  .

Thanks, Bryan! Yes I was thinking about that too. I was thinking of making an alternate site that will accomodate the 800x600 folks, but not sure if it was still worth the time or not (like you said, is it time to leave 800x600 behind? ). But I will surely keep that in mind and create the alternate site whenever I'm done with this main one.

Unfortunately I have a lot of big pictures that will not fit into that space (check out the pictures when you get a chance :D ). Maybe I should direct it to a warning message first before popping up a new window. THANKS for pointing that out!

Thanks for the compliment! :)

The details link is what I had in mind. Much better.
I think you should go with crosshairs possibly for the pointer instead of the arrows. Just an opinion though.
About the fan art, I thought it was going to be pictures. I didn't realize what type of file it was. I'm not too sure about streaming video, but you're probably right. If there's no other way to do it, like making it save as a temporary file (not zipped). I'm not too sure if everyone will have an unzip program.
One more thing, with the disclaimer, I think it should be more towards the bottom of the page, if not at the bottom.
Everything else looks good to me.
too many images will kill your abndwidth and slow down slower users internet connections etc.
